The center was established in 2026 by the Joǵargʽı Keńes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, with a simple purpose: keep AI capability — the models, the data and the people who build them — inside the region.
We are deliberately general. We do not pick one industry and stay in it. Where the language has no data, we collect it. Where a public process is manual, we automate it. Where a model is not good enough yet, we say so and keep working.
The first programmes are speech technology for Karakalpak, vision-language work for city safety, and automation for public offices. Partnerships are open to state bodies, companies and institutions.
